I Like La Reggia

Buon Giorno Tutti!

It has been another fine week in Caserta and everything is still going pretty well! Today for our Pday we decided to stay back in Caserta and to go explore the Reggia palace a little bit more. It was incredible and we found a lot of really cool little places in the gardens. I am pretty much convinced that someday I will live in the palace... We will see. Italy is awesome and Caserta is the best place here! I have had missionaries tell me that the Reggia is tied with all of Rome for how incredible it is, so that is saying something.

This week there isnt a whole lot else that is new to write. We are teaching quite a few lessons a week still and I* is progressing quite quickly to the June 1st Baptism. We even are having her try on a baptismal gown... She is great and everything is looking really bright for that. Our other African investigator S* is also doing alright, but we have decided to postpone setting a baptismal date for a while so that we can more fully make sure that she understands what it means to be baptized and to be a member of the restored church of Jesus Christ.

We are also still visiting and working with some less active members. This is hard but I think that we are making some progress. They are all very nice and accepting, they just have work and other things on Sunday so they say that they cant make it to church. We will continue working though. Also, this week Anziano Faggioli and I went onto Fortress America again this week to meet with a less active member briefly. It was very good and we were able to assist the Willies, the Senior couple in dropping some things off to members on the base. It was really good and we met quite a few people. We also had KFC because it was on the base... That was cool, I didnt think I would get Kentucky Fried Chicken in Italy. It felt like being back home haha. Well, I am doing well and Anziano Faggioli and I are starting to work really well together, I think that this transfer will be very successful and we should be seeing at least one, if not more baptisms coming up soon.

I hope all is well back home! I love and miss you all! It was great talking to my family on skype last Sunday! Thanks for everything!!!

Sincerely,

Anziano Burton
