Another week in Italy!
Things here are going well! This last week we had quite a bit of success
and we are pretty excited here! We have set two more baptismal dates.
One with our African investigator S* for August 17th and another one
with our Italian investigator GF* for July 27th. We are very
excited for these and both of these investigators are progressing very
well. They are keeping commitments and GF* has given us his pack
of cigarettes. It is kind of unfortunate that both dates are after this
transfer ends, but we will see if I am still here... Unfortunately, we
havent been able to get in contact with our investigator B*, he
kind of dropped off this week, but we are trying to set something up
this week. Unfortunately we will have to bump the baptismal date back
for him. R* and G* are doing very well also, we had a great
lesson with them last night and it was R*'s birthday. We gave
G* some sunflower seeds and a quit smoking program, so hopefully
we will see progress with them on the Word of Wisdom soon. They are both
really enthusiastic and R* is worried that in a few weeks one of
us will be transfered.
Right now it is still kind of interesting in a
threesome companionship. We get along and the work is going well. It is
just different. It is strange. I havent posted any pictures recently, so
here is a picture of Anziano Gunderson and I at the beginning of this transfer:
And here is a picture of Anziano Faggioli, M*, and I Golfing a few weeks ago at Carney Park:
A bumber this week is that M* is going to Canada for a month and
he left today. He is our number one help with teaching lessons in the
presence of a member. We will have to start getting other members to
help out with our lessons. Anyway, not a whole lot to report this week.
Most everything is normal. I hope everyone has a good week this week!
Sincerely,
Anziano Burton
