Hey Mother!

Life is great in Italy! Just wanted to let you know everything is going well here. Anziano Badger and I are working well. I am sorry, I try to get this all done so fast and I don't know if I can answer all of your questions. We walk in Caserta and basically all of our work is directly in Caserta. We take the train only when we go to Napoli or the US base. The rain has been fun here but it is a little annoying always having to carry an umbrella. We teach most of our lessons in the Church, some at homes. A little less than half of my lessons here are in English because all the Africans who came up to Italy only know their native language and english really, so that is fun! Pompei was way cool, just like in the pictures! It is fun cause I see Ostler, Barone, and Kemple, the guys from the MTC alot cause they are in my zone. It is good! Oh, I keep forgetting, tell dad that Davis, I think Jordan Davis, from baseball when I was a sophomore is here in my zone. He is training Anziano Kemple. Well, it is good to hear from you each week! I'll let you know about the  letter thing. I am happy! Oh, and yesterday I decided to just start the BoM and go from beginning to ending. I am already at page 56, I am going to finish in like 2 weeks is my goal. This week is going to be another busy week and Anziano Badger says it is some of the busiest work he has done for his entire mission in Italy. It is great!!! Love you Mom! Life is great here!!! Know that I am well!!!

Sorry, Ive got a little more time to write, so I will write some more to you. Sorry if I just kind of ramble. So everywhere in Italy is like some amazing ancient monument or temple or something. It is way fun! The Pizza is amazing!!! Last night after our English course and a lesson with a girl who has a baptismal date for the 27th of April we went to a little pizzeria by our house and had a really nice long talk about who we are and what we do as missionaries. Anziano Badger did like all of the talking. I just tried to follow along. Like Ive said, I get the jist of what a conversation is about, but my speach is bad and I cant respond well. They tell me my pronounciation is great for having been here for 2 weeks. So after we talked with them we took our Pizzas home and ate them while we watched some book of mormon movies on our little portable dvd player. It was fun! This is so much fun here! So check out the enormous palace and stuff in Caserta. Star wars episode 1 was filmed there I hear. One of these P days we are going to bike down the entire backyard and that is enormous, so it will be way fun. I'll upload photos later tonight or tomorrow. A lot of them are of Pompei, Napoli, and the Baptism, but we've got some others also. So I guess I only get so much space on my blog, so I might make a new one each time I get transfered. We will see. We get confused for Jehovahs Witnesses here a lot and they are kind of annoying. We saw some on the platform at the train station and they tried to talk with us and were flat out saying the book of mormon is stupid and stuff. I thought it was so funny of them. Anziano Badger has a JWs bible that he has marked up, solely for the purpose of proving them wrong haha. It is hilarious, cause so much of what they believe and what is written in the bible is flat out contradicting, and they have no way to explain it. I am very grateful to be a member of the true church and to have the knowledge I do. It is an unimaginable blessing. I am super excited for General Conference! I love this language!!! I love this gospel! Baptisms are way fun here and they tell me they are still pretty rare here. I mean, our goal was reached for the first time of 20 baptisms in one month. I dont plan to listen to that. I keep believing that the people here are ready and that I will see a good amount of people accept the truth while I am here. I can see it in their eyes like I say. Now, I know that I am nothing without God and that disappointments happen, but I really do believe if I give my all, I will see some of the fruits of my labors. The people here are ready, I am sure of it. Well, again, LOVE YOU MOM!!!! THIS WORK IS THE BEST!!!! I am already not looking forward to the day I have to come home and get released haha. Dont worry though, I will live to the fullest during these two years. It is amazing! I know this Gospel changes lives and I know that people here will soon find that change in their lives. I hope that I can be an instrument in the hands of the Lord to do some good.

Oh, and yes Amalfi is in our zone, one of these Pdays all the Anziani will go to it. We go with basically all the Napoli missionaries every Pday because three of us are from Olympus haha. General conference, we just watch it kind of later in the day or the next day because of time differences. Love you Mom!
