Buon Giorno Tutti!!!

 

It has been another fantastic week in Cagliari! This week has just been great and I am loving my time here! Anziano Davids and I are getting a long and we are teaching and it is great! So, on Sunday evening we had two investigators come to a baptism of a little girl in our ward. One of them was G*, who we have been working with for some time. He has a baptismal date for the 9th of November and we are excited. This week he quit smoking entirely. He gave us his pack of cigarettes and he said he was finished. It was so awesome and the spirit was so strong in the lesson. He really has the desire to be baptized in the true church of Christ and it is so cool to see him acting on this desire. The other investigator who came to the baptism is this woman named O*. She is Spanish and she is awesome! At the baptism the spirit was so strong and she started to ask us questions like "Can a person be baptized if they are older than 8" and "Can someone be converted from Catholicism to this Church" We are really excited for her and this evening we will be teaching her the Restoration. It is going to be so powerful. She is so ready for this Gospel to be in her life. The one challenge that we will really have to face is getting her to Church. She works on Sundays and this makes it a little bit hard. It will all work out in the end. Both Anziano Davids and I have confidence in a miracle.

 

So, another investigator that we have is named E*. He is an African man and he is awesome! He also quit smoking and gave us his cigarettes after we bore powerful testimony of the help that Jesus Christ can give us with our problems that we have. He has been going strong and the last lesson we had he brought his brother and another girl to the lesson to hear us. It was awesome! He was bearing testimony to them about how this is the true Church of Jesus Christ and how Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. It was such a great lesson!

 

This week we had the new Stake presidency come and visit us. They are really nice and really great guys. They encouraged the members to work with us and to help combine our efforts to reactivate people and bring the Gospel to new people. It was great!

 

I really am so happy here in Cagliari! This is the best city ever! It is so much fun and the people are amazing! You know, like basically all of our investigators are really just normal people who have normal lives and who are really seeking truth. It is really cool here. You know, we have been starting to fill a lot of our time with lessons and that is really nice to just focus on that now. I am loving working with Anziano Davids and the work is moving forward here! I really do have a testimony that people can change and people can become something new through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. It is great seeing people's lives change. The Gospel is a powerful thing and it is spreading across the earth.
