Buon Giorno Tutti! La Bella Cagliari è magnifico!
Well, this week has been great! We had General Conference and then two days later we had Zone Conference, so a packed week of spiritual power! It has been so great hearing how we can become better and how we can work harder. This work is incredible! Well, a very big new change that came from President Waddoups at Zone Conference... Now, we have our P-Day on Monday. So... I will be writing my next letter on Monday instead of Wednesday. Pretty interesting... I hope that is alright for all of you who read my e-mails! It will be the only time on my mission really where I have two P-Days in the space of one week. It will be really great!
So, this week we had some interesting things happen. We kind of lost contact with G* and he disappeared for nearly the entire week. Luckily though we were able to go to his house and see what was happening. He has been having a rough time with his wife this week and it has been kind of hard. We met with him yesterday after Zone Conference and we had a hard time trying to teach him about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was not listening very well and would take everything back to the problems he is having with his wife. It was really hard, but we hope that on Friday we can reteach him the lesson and he will hopefully be a little more relaxed. After our lesson with him we actually went to the place his wife was at and having a little lesson with her where we introduced the Book of Mormon. She was very nice, an African lady from Nigeria. She speaks perfect Italian and English. We will be teaching her more this week. As for our other Nigerian investigator, E* is doing good. We will be teaching him, his brother, and his brothers girlfriend this week and they are doing awesome! O*, our investigator from English Course is doing well and we have taught about half of the Restoration to her. Tonight we will teach the second half and invite her to be baptized. We are very excited. We still have some other people who are good potentials and we are seeing if we can set lessons up with them. This week we have also focused a lot on trying to helps members get more involved in finding less actives and helping them back to Church. It is a great program we have going.
The day before Zone Conference I did a scambio with Anziano Prieto from one of the Rome areas. He is from Brazil and he is really awesome! We had a great day and worked really hard and it was great! Things overall in Cagliari are just moving right along and it is great! This transfer has flown by! Already we have transfer calls this Saturday, I can't even believe it. I hope that I stay here with Anziano Davids. We are working so well together! I guess I will be telling you the news of what happens on Monday, so that will be great! Thanks everyone!
