Buon Giorno Tutti!
It has been another good week here in Cagliari! Really I have nothing to complain about this place. It is beautiful and the people are amazing! This week we have had some good success and we are feeling pretty good about a lot of things. We are organizing a lot of activities for members and investigators to come to and we are very excited for that. We have also encountered some slight problems with different investigators but we are hoping to fix those things this week. We will just see how everything plays out.
So, some exciting news this week, we decided to move G*'s baptismal date up a week and we had the interview and he passed. So, now he will be baptized on November 3rd. We are very excited for this! We have been working with him from week one here in Cagliari and it is pretty great to see how happy he is to be baptized. That will be incredible! He is a really good person, kind of funny and he does a lot of the Italian hand gestures and stuff, but he wants to be baptized in the true Church and this desire is really working within him.

Our member WF*, I can't remember if I posted this last time... But he is awesome and helps us out a ton with the work here!
Unfortunately we have not been able to meet with O* and A* again this week. That is kind of a huge bumber for us. They have been pretty busy and we have not been able to pin down a day to meet. We are really hoping that we can this week. It is also the same with E*. We have not been able to pin him down because he has been crazy busy and we have been crazy busy. It is just kind of a hard thing. The P* family has been kind of having some struggles also. It turns out that S*, the 8 year old boy has been preparing to take his first sacrament in the Catholic Church, but now M* and A* really like us and they have felt the spirit so strong that it will be impossible for them to truly deny it. We think that they know that this is the true church but they are just scared to make the jump because of the social aspect and other things. It will be interesting when we meet with them this week. We are excited because we are just gonna hit them with the spirit again and help them see the right path.
We don't see many subarus in Italy... It was a really special experience for me haha. And it is an WRX STI... Sam this is for you and the next one also. The next one, just me and the Porsche 911, so, yeah there are pretty nice cars in Italy...
Well, our numbers for this week were ok, nothing amazing, but nothing really bad. Anziano Davids and I are really getting along well and we are working hard and it is great here. I love it here, there are so many people who are ready to accept this message and we are definitely finding them. The other missionaries here in Cagliari are starting to see some great successes also, and it is just a fantastic time to be a part of the work here. I am loving seeing people gain a light in there eyes. Over the course of teaching lessons you really see them begin to smile for real. Not just fake smiles, but real genuine happy smiles. It is so cool to see and I have been noticing that a lot this week for some reason. I love this work and I love being out here on the mission. This is the best mission ever! Things are rolling forward and it is fantastic! I know that Jesus Christ lives and that he really does love each and every one of us. He is our biggest fan, cheering for us all the way to the finish line. It is powerful truly knowing the force that we have backing us up. I love it.
Life is good in Italy. Italian is a pretty sweet language. The mission is the best!
Sincerely,
Anziano Burton
