Buongiorno Tutti!
Well, a fantastic week of success in Lecce! It has been awesome! There is so much to report, it is kind of hard to be able to write everything in such a short time. I will try haha.
Our investigator M*, from Senegal now has a baptismal date for the 17th of May, our investigator G* from Albania has a date for the 17th also. They are both progressing and it is cool to teach them but hard at times, because of the language barrier. We found four new investigators this week doing street in between our lessons and stuff. We taught 16 lessons to investigators and less actives, so that is pretty stinking awesome! It has been a pretty fantastic time being with Anziano Petersen, he is a crazy hard worker and it is awesome! Such a good guy! We are working with a man named O* who is an ex Jehovah's Witness and has a lot of really interesting bible questions. We are doing our best to answer them and it is going well with him, just a little slow. We are working with a man named N* who is Hindu and is really nice. We are trying to teach him the plan of salvation and stuff but it has been hard to meet with him because we meet him on the street or in the park that I sent the picture of with the fountains.
We are also working with a less active lady named Sorella Napoletano and she is nice and still making slow progress relearning a lot of the doctrine of the church again. We hope to have her back in Church this week.
This week I was called as the second counsilor in the branch presidency, so that is cool. Anziano Petersen is first. We get to direct and stuff in sacrament meeting. Kind of strange, I feel to young to do that, but it is a cool experience. The branch has about 30 active members right now, it is cool and the people are really nice for the most part here. Well, this week we have just seen the work start to explode and it has been awesome! We are both really excited for the work here in Lecce! I am happy! We are working with some other people also and things are going well for the most part. We are seeing some sweet miracles talking with people on the street and stuff. It is pretty great! We have really been trying to talk with people in between lessons. It is awesome! Well, sorry if this letter is scattered and stuff, it has been a good week and a very busy week. We are happy! It is so crazy, I turn 20 this week, that seems strange to leave behind my teens. Oh well. haha. Time to enter the 20's. Well, thanks for everything everybody!
