Buongiorno Tutti!
Io ho 20 anni adesso! It is so strange to think that I have completed my first 2 decades of life. Pretty strange but pretty cool at the same time. I have loved the opportunity of living for these 20 years and I look forward to the next 20. So strange, I feel old. Well, for Easter/My Birthday, we did a number of things. I woke up and Anziano Petersen made swedish pancakes with the recipe that my mom sent a while back. That was awesome of him! He is such a fantastic companion! I love being with him! He teaches me so much every day! After that, in Sacrament meeting I directed the meeting, and I gave a talk about Jesus Christ! It was awesome! Like it was a lot and directing in Italian is really hard for some reason. In my talk I spoke about 4 questions. 1. Do we know who Jesus Christ is? 2. Do we believe who he is? 3. Do we act on the beliefs that we have? 4. Do we experience the joy and see the blessings of our actions? It was fun to talk about this on such a special day to the Italian people and also my Birthday, it was a cool day. After the meeting we went to a really nice lady's house for a huge lunch. Her name was Sorella Pranzo which means Sister Lunch haha. She is really nice! The food was really good! After that we had an appointment in the evening with M* and that went well even though it was really short because he was working trying to make money for rent. That was basically my birthday... pretty good!

This week as far as work goes was actually quite a bit more difficult. We had a nasty amount of people not show up for lessons and we unfortunately dropped some investigators who are not making progress. We will be doing a lot of finding this week, but oh well, it will be good and we will find the people ready for the truth. It will come in time. This week we had two less actives return to Church. That was awesome!!! Sorella Napoletano and Fratello Ernesto came to Church! That was so cool! We were so happy for that! Sorella Napoletano brought her non member son also! It was good! We had some lessons with them this week and they went well and the members are starting to put forth effort to help them out. Slowly but surely. It is great! This week we were only able to see a few people because of many people didn't come to lessons that we had planned. We did find a really awesome family though in the area book and we went and visited them at their house. It was great! They are really interested and after this week we will go and start to visit them regularly. That will be so cool! It has been forever since the missionaries went over to visit them. We are looking forward to that. G* unfortunately couldn't come to Church because his wife doesn't love that we meet with him. We actually weren't able to meet with him this week, but hopefully this next week we will keep things going. Last night we had a lesson with an African man named A* who is Muslim. We taught him on the stairs of a large catholic church because there was no other place to sit. That was cool. He is really nice but We don't know how interested he really is. We will meet him again soon to see if he will try to read and pray.
Lecce is so stinking nice! Like really! The architecture used here is incredible. Like the churches are crazy huge and made out of this beautiful white stone. It is so cool! They have these awesome carvings and sculptures all over the outside. I still haven't seen the inside of one yet, but all in good time. I love working here! I am so happy to be here in Lecce with Anziano Petersen! It is great!
Yesterday we deep cleaned our apartment because on Easter everyone has parties and stuff and then the day after no one is outside because they have to recover from the festivities. It is funny. Well, a great week down!
Ciao Tutti!
Sincerely,
Anziano Burton
P.S. here is the lunch I ate on my birthday and stuff. It was a lot
