Ancora, fa caldo... Ma va bene.

Buongiorno Tutti!!!
I am still here in Oristano in case any of you were wondering. But transfer calls are coming this next week, so we will see what happens there.

Well, we have had a good week and things are going well here in little Oristano! This week we met with A* and we watched Elder Bednars conference talk directed to non members and also President Monsons conference talk about walking as Christ walked. We watched them in Croatian, so we didnt understand anything, but she liked it a lot so that was sweet! She is so sincere in her search for truth. She has read a little bit of the Book of Mormon and her prayers during the lessons are very genuine. It is really cool! We tried to press baptism a little more, but she still only really accepts the invite that she will be baptized if she recieves an answer, sooooo... No baptismal date yet. But we are hoping that it happens soon. Also, she couldn't make it to Church this week because she worked until 6 in the morning on from Saturday evening to Sunday morning, so she was a little tired. Hopefully next week it will work out.

So last week I said that we were going to meet with V* because she called us. Well, we met with her and she dropped us. She told us that after the blessing a few weeks ago she had a huge internal battle whether she should be baptized. She decided in the end that something that causes this much stress and stuff can't be right... That is a bummer. She knows it is true, just lacks the ability to take a leap of faith. Maybe in the future the Spirit will change her mind. We can only pray. After that lesson Anziano Flynn and I were pretty sad, we just kind of didnt talk a lot until we got home after the lesson. It was just depressing. Thus ends the relationship between V* and the missionaries... For now.

Well, on Friday we had zone conference. That was great! I loved it, it was a lot about planning anf teaching. It was good! For about half of it I was translating the conference from English to Italian for Anziano Gavaz who doesnt understand a ton of English. That was a lot harder than I thought. It was the first time I translated for someone since Caserta. Anyway, the conference went great and I got to see Anziano Ostler again who is still an Assistent. He is such a good guy.

So, something new that happened this week in Oristano was that they had some huge event Saturday night. In the main Piazza they had this stage set up and there were tons of people, like more people than I have ever seen in Oristano all packed into Centro. Surrounding the stage they had a bunch of chairs set up and stuff. There was a break dancer, some singers, a fashion show thing and some other stuff like that. Kind of really strange for quiet Oristano. They had all this loud music playing and stuff. That was all interesting. It's probably the most exciting/new thing that has happened here in all the time I have been here. Oristano is usually sooooo quiet.

Overall this week has gone well. It has felt like a success overall. I am happy. Oristano is a good place. Life is good in Italy!

I hope that everything at home is going great!

Sincerely,

Anziano Burton
