La Conferenza, Mi Riempe

Buongiorno Tutti!

Another week down and things in Oristano are going pretty well! To start
things off today we hit some balls for free at the Oristano driving range.
That was pretty sick. It's been quite a while since I hit a golf ball, it
feels good. Well this week we watched General Conference and that was
fantastic! I saw some huge themes from the conference and one of the things
that stood out to me were the three talks in a row all talking about the
Prophet and the importance of trusting in the guidance he gives. It is
pretty sweet that we have a living prophet today who recieves communication
from God for the guidance of this Church. I love the prophets and apostles.

This week we met with two people from English Course. The first one was
V* a past investigator. She has been going through some hard times
recently and she kept thinking to call us, so she did. We met and talked
with her about getting baptized and recieving the spirit. She is soooo
close to just doing everything, she has had soooo many manifestations. She
just needs to take the leap of faith. We gave her a blessing and then she
left. Hopefully this week we will see her again and find out how things are
going. She could make such a good member here! The other girl we met was
the one who called us about two weeks ago and said she wanted religion
in her life. Her name is A*. She is from Croatia. The meeting
went really well and it was so cool! We found out about her past
experience with religion and it turns out she
has a lot of beliefs already about God that are the same as us. The spirit
was very strong during the lesson and we should be meeting with her again
tonight to set a baptismal date and get her on track towards the peace and
joy in life that comes from the Gospel. She is kind of shy but really nice.
It is sweet to have a new investigator after so long.

As for everything else this week, it's all gone pretty well. Still a lot of
finding. We are starting to see some more faces from English Course coming
through, so that is awesome! Hopefully we will get some new investigators
from that. Oh, lately I have been sleeping pretty terribly. Our two large
Italian companions snore a lot during the night and it is pretty terrible.
They give us tennis balls to throw at them during the night so they change
positions and stop snoring. Unfortunately all my tennis balls are on the
ground and stuff within the first hour usually so I either have to get out
of bed to reload my ammo or spend the next 7 hours listening to snoring.
Anziano Flynn has the same problem as me haha. It is a tiring war to wage.

Well that's about it for the week, nothing else new really happened. As
usual quite a bit of finding and fun stuff like that. I hope you all have
an awesome week this week! It is going to be awesome!

Sincerely,

Anziano Burton
